Today’s Plan has an API that allows third party services to link in and set up these connections, but it requires development work from the third party. We are continually looking to add to our list of connected third party systems. See our article on FitnessSyncer for more details. If you have a device that syncs to Strava, you will be able to use FitnessSyncer to get your future completed activities over to Today’s Plan. Fitness syncer acts as a bridge between Today’s Plan and other third parties who don’t have a direct sync. But it is still possible to sync with platforms like TrainerRoad and Coros using a third party service called FitnessSyncer. The platforms detailed above all have direct syncs with Today’s Plan. After finishing your workout, you will be asked you if you want to SAVE the RESULT and if you want the data to be uploaded to your preferred training platform. A red button with “Todays Plan will appear on the start page, your workouts can then be downloaded from the training platform. Select your training platform in the USER PROFILE of the software. Once set up, any workouts you complete and save on the Garmin will be uploaded through your phone to Garmin Connect, and then synced to Stages Link automatically within the next few minutes after they've been uploaded through your phone.IcTrainer supports auto uploading of completed activities as well as scheduled workouts. Return to the app and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.

On your Garmin device, enable Bluetooth under Settings > Bluetooth > Enable (toggle on).

Search for your device model on the list.

Do you gave a Garmin device to connect? - select Yes.

Select to sign in or create an account - enter your Garmin Connect username and password.

Install the app for your Android or iPhone.

If you do not yet have the Garmin Connect app synced to your Garmin device, follow these steps:

Once accepted, you will be re-directed back to the Stages Link site.

You will be re-directed to the Garmin Connect website to authenticate using your Garmin Connect username & password.

Select the Connect button next to the Garmin Connect icon.

Select your name in the top right corner then click on Account and then the Connections tab.

Alternatively, if you have your files stored elsewhere, see our individual topics on how to bulk upload files using manual file upload or using the Stages Sync desktop application. If you would like to upload historical data from Garmin Connect you need to export the original files one by one to a folder on your desktop and then upload them from there. Please note: a restriction applied by Garmin means when you apply the connection to Stages Link, only your future activities and the previous 30 days of activities will be automatically uploaded.

This also allows for wireless file uploading using autosync to upload your files through the Garmin Connect app. Enabling this feature within Stages Link allows you to quickly and easily have your completed workouts synced to your account directly from Garmin Connect, without the need to use our desktop agent or manually upload.
